Beautiful! Your haiku expresses so much emotion in a sparse phrase.
In my case, it is me who returns to school, my mum is left at home.

Mmmmm...what's it like to have the days back to yerself?! I personally would be tempted to do miniml amount of cleaning, then veg in front of the 'puter or TV 'til lunchtime!!
