Simple Pleasures Haiku

Gardens at first light:
full of busy workers, but
even snails take breaks.

(Thanks to the women of One Deep Breath for their continuing inspiration,
and to my son, who insisted that I take a picture of the resting snail.)

I particularly like that second photo - the shell looks so beautifully textured.

My granddaughter, Maya, loves snails. Picks them up and puts them on her arm and watches them move. Lovingly puts them back down.

We would all do well to remember the snails, and take very long breaks more often!
Lovely haiku and photos!

The photos - especially the second one - are lovely. And I don´t like snails but I like your haiku and the sentiment.
