Sea Haiku

A storm blew the bird
far off her intended course ~
our boat her refuge.

(Thanks to the women of One Deep Breath
for their continuing inspiration.
And if you're just tuning in,
the story behind this haiku
is in the second paragraph
of the entry just below this one.)

Oh, yes! What a co-inky-dink that is! I loved the story and now I love the haiku!

May we always provide safe haven to lost souls until they can get back on their feet.

all the birds blown off their courses must be grateful for boats. It works well metaphorically as well of course.

Nice image! It opens up to so much beyond any one bird....

A lovely story, well enhanced by the haiku. May we all find such a safe haven in the midst of stormy seas :)
