Stone Haiku

Each stone on the beach
awaits the moment
when it, too, will soar.

Very nice. It caught me by surprise, actually. I read it, moved on, then thought, "Wait ... what did that say?" and came back.

Lovely image, both textually and visually.

That's a nice thought. I alway wondered if the rocks were bumming that they worked so hard to get to the beach and then got pitched back in.

Shelley, I have often thought about the possible freedom a rock must feel when it's tossed back into it's wet womb. That or the fact that it's going to take decades for it to return to it's dry land! This is great...

peace and shakin' the tree,
Lil
