Winter Wonders

tiny waterfalls
frozen to the rock face —
at last I notice

traveling north
through greys and browns —
still no snow

both are very vivid portrayals of winter beauty...the stark landscape you paint is a wonderful place for the red of a cardinal or berries. i love how the colors of winter draw us toward little beauties.
