Missing more regular blog posts? Sorry 'bout that. I'm working on spending a little less time glued to my computer screen, at least during the hours that our small person is awake. Because look at how great simple hangout time can be.In other news, this post by one of my new favorite mom-bloggers has got me all fired up; I'm DEFINITELY going to start working on a personalized family calendar. Stay tuned, friends and family folk... I'm going to need your help!

My mom kept her "green book" from her mid-twenties until she died. It was current with everyone's birthdays and anniversaries, many death days, and, as her only child, a zillion pieces of minutiae from my life (day of first interview at the worksite where we met, date of my second interview, date of my THIRD interview, etc.). She lovingly transcribed the critical ones to her Palm Pilot as well and transferred them all to mine so I'd always know birthdays too. I haven't quite had the heart to keep up hers but maybe this will reinspire me to kick up my own for our family.
