everywhere I turn,
a blur of birds
flying away
flying away
old friend's phone machine
with the voice of her husband,
now gone

Love that image "a blur of birds..."
Both are very moving indeed.
the first is lovely, the photo too. The second is very moving.
oh the second one gave me chills.....
both beautiful...the second moves me to tears.
Oh the ache in the second one!
I especially like the first one.
Ah, these are lovely. Distinct emotions, seasons in each. Great!
Painful and truly, deeply lonely.
Deeply painful. A constant reminder of losses and an future reminder of moving on.
All sad moments have their happier side.

Deeply moving - the last one is so well put.
Great, tangible loneliness!
Both of these are so well done. The first is the feeling of fall, watching all the birds heading off to leave us to face the cold winter alone, but the second... oh, my.
The two haiku and the photo expressive of being left behind and the growing lonelieness. The birds flying away and the voice left of one who has gone on - each reflective othe other. Well done.
a blur of birds... lovely.
That second one is really touching. And painful.
beautiful...yr 2nd ku is very close to home...let's just say after two years, she has yet to change the msg...his voice is still on the recording..
good job...pulled on some heart strings...takes a while to say goodbye. recordings...audio or video...mean we choose when. a mixed blessing, perhaps?
